For readers with visual stress
Find the page your eyes can settle on
Reading strain? Rilver is the reading app that measures colours for your eyes.
Not out yet, but close. Rilver is being finished and tested now. The download link will live on this page when it is ready.
The colour test comes first: twelve to eighteen minutes of comparisons that search for the background your eyes find easiest, built to say honestly when colour makes no difference. The test will be free. Around it, a reading app for newsletters, articles and photographed paper, each shown in the colours it measures.
Some of it is already here. The reading controls at the top of this page are the same settings the app has — colour, text size, line spacing, letter spacing, contrast and typeface — and what you choose is remembered.
The privacy policy, terms and support pages are already written. An app that reads your mail should have those ready before it asks for anything.
